Senior Citizen Residential Electric – Schedule 37

Availability

Available upon request and proof of eligibility for senior (65+ years) residential customers. Service under this schedule is subject to the rules and regulations of the Seller.

Energy Charge

  • 0.05419 per kWh – 0 to 1100 kWh
  • 0.05887 per kWh – 1101 kWh to 1500 kWh
  • 0.06962 per kWh – Over 1500 kWh

Minimum Charge

The minimum monthly charge under this schedule is $13.70.

Legal proof that resident listed on the account is 65 years of age or older and resides at the account address is required for eligibility.

Residential Electric – Schedule 35

Residential (Schedule 35) - Where primary use of structure served by the meter is for dwelling purposes (i.e. personal-use shelter, cooking, bathing, or sleeping). Within the Residential service type classification there exists Single-Family, Duplex, Multi-Family, and Apartment sub-categories, all of which are eligible for Schedule 35.

Availability

Available to residential customers. Service under this schedule is subject to the rules and regulations of the Seller.

Single-phase, 60 cycles, at Seller's standard voltage.

  • 0.05419 per kWh – 0 to 750 kWh
  • 0.05887 per kWh – 751 kWh to 1,500 kWh

Residential Electric Auxiliary – Schedule 35x

Residential AUX (Schedule 35x) - Where local zoning by the Authority Having Jurisdiction allows residential use, and the metered service is not otherwise eligible for Residential Schedule 35, the meter shall be considered as auxiliary.

Available to residential customers. Service under this schedule is subject to the rules and regulations of the Seller.

Single-phase, 60 cycles, at Seller's standard voltage.

Commercial Electric – Schedule 30

Availability

Available for Commercial and Industrial use which only requires single-phase transformer capacity. Service under this schedule is subject to the rules and regulations of the Seller.

Type of Service

Three-phase, 60 cycles, at Seller's standard voltage.

Monthly Rate

Basic Charge

  • $31.50

Energy Charge

  • 0.06115 per kWh – 0 to 5000 kWh
  • 0.05296 per kWh – over 5000 kWh

Demand Charge

  • $3.68 per kW demand over 20 kW

Determination for Billing Demand

The billing demand shall be the maximum integrated 15-minute demand recorded during the month for which the bill is rendered.

Minimum Monthly Charge

The minimum monthly charge under this schedule is $31.50

Commercial Electric – Schedule 32

Availability

Available for Commercial and Industrial use which only requires three-phase transformer capacity.

Service under this schedule is subject to the rules and regulations of the Seller.

Type of Service

Three-phase, 60 cycles, at Seller’s standard voltage.

Monthly Rate

Basic Charge

  • $50.95

Energy Charge

  • 0.06115 per kWh – 0 to 3000 kWh
  • 0.05296 per kWh – over 5000 kWh

Demand Charge

  •   $3.68 per KW demand over 20KW

Determination for Billing Demand

The Billing Demand shall be the maximum integrated 15-minute demand recorded during the month for which the bill is rendered.

Minimum Monthly Charge

The minimum monthly charge under this schedule is $50.95.

Large Commercial – Schedule 38

Applicability

For all new large electric use that meets the following general guidelines:

  • Service or Account established on or after October 1, 2011, and
  • Requires three-phase transformer capacity ≥ 500 kVA, or
  • Estimated monthly energy consumption ≥ 100,000 kWhrs, or
  • Monthly billed energy consumption in any previous 12-months ≥ 150,000 kWhrs, or
  • As determined at the discretion of Modern Electric Water Co.

Monthly Billing Rates

Basic Charge

  • $50.95

Energy Charge

  • 0.06115 per kWh – All kWh

Demand Charge

  • $ 3.68 per KW demand over 20KW
