Modern Seeks Public Comment on Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP)

Modern Electric Water Company is inviting public comment on our draft Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP), as required under Washington’s Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA).

The CEIP describes how Modern will continue to comply with clean energy requirements while prioritizing reliability and affordability for our customers. The draft plan includes our clean energy targets, an equity-focused participation indicator, and specific actions to ensure customers have accessible ways to stay informed and provide input.

Customers can review the draft CEIP and a plain-language summary on our website. We welcome comments:

All customers are encouraged to participate, especially those who may face barriers to attending meetings in person. Phone calls and emails will be given the same consideration as in-person comments.
