Scott Hislop has served the shareholders and businesses of Modern Electric Water Company for 9 years, a role he describes as "an honor and a privilege." He is also a business owner in Modern's service area.
Scott greatly values the work the board has done holding true to the company's mission, to provide safe, reliable and affordable electric and water services as well as enhance and enrich the lives of the community Modern serves.
Scott, who has served on Modern's board since 2013 and is seeking re-election this year, would like to continue working alongside the members of Modern's team to face future challenges in power generation, water quality and the environment for the benefit of shareholders and the company.
A native of Liberty Lake, Washington, Scott graduated in 1988 from Central Valley High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Gonzaga University. In 1995, Scott went back to Gonzaga University and attended Gonzaga University School of Law. He received his Juris Doctor in 1998.
